I have been around machinery all my life and I have yet to understand the attraction to hydrostatic four-wheel drive. It is only four-wheel drive when it is on solid ground. Once there is tire slippage it immediately becomes a two-wheel drive machine with the wrong two wheels driving, usually left front and right rear. Another point is when there is wheel slippage the two wheels that drive are being driven by one pump, which means the unit does not have enough power at that point to pull itself through anything.

Simply put, the Apache is a rugged, affordable sprayer that accomplishes what we want to do: spread fertilizer and spray weeds.
