| “It’s
like comparing a Model T to a Cadillac” – Dennis Egger, Hickman,
Nebraska
I bought my Apache because I liked the simplicity of the drive train, and wanted to stay away from hydrostats, due to their complexity and high cost of maintenance. I felt that buying an Apache was more like buying a tractor. The Apache drive train appears to be trouble free and easy to maintain. My Apache will go anywhere I need to go, and I have never been stuck. With the mechanical drive train you don't lose the horsepower to the ground, therefore, you have very good low-end torque. The Apache is very easy to operate, and I like the controls inside to the cab. I am also very impressed with the suspension, cab comfort and visibility, and I like how the booms handle in the field. I previously ran a pull type and the comparison to an Apache would be similar to comparing a Model T to a Cadillac. |
