“We shopped for three years prior to purchasing our Apache” – Reimer Custom Harvesting & Spraying, Delane Reimer, Medford, Oklahoma

Our company doesn’t purchase equipment often, and when we do we look for something that will last. We shopped for 3 years prior to purchasing our Apache. Early on in our sprayer research we eliminated buying a hydrostat drive sprayer because people we talked to had high maintenance due to failure of the drive system. I was told that once the system was contaminated with the first failure, other failures seemed to follow soon after.

We like the ride and power of the Apache. Recently, working within a very narrow window to spray volunteer wheat, we sprayed 800 acres in less than a day and a half. The field was soft in spots where we were cutting ruts 8 to 10 inches, but with the power and traction of the Apache we got the job done. We like the Raven system that came with our Apache because of its accuracy and ease to operate. In the future it would be nice to see an alert light for low product in the tank and a better sight line to the right boom, but other than that we are very satisfied.

Because of the acres we can cover per day with the Apache and its reliability, we plan on increasing our custom spraying business.
